This Article was originally posted on September 19, 2011 🍀 On March 20, we held a Shiju-kunichi* memorial service for K. *Shiju-kunichi is a Shinto Memorial Service held for a deceased on the 49th day after the death of the person. It is believed that on the 49th day, the deceased person starts his new life in the land of Gods. This is the Judgement Day as well. Families hold Shiju-kunichi memorial service with Sutras and Prayers to send their loved ones off to the Gods' land with love and respect. It rained hard on K's 49th day, our hearts were filled with sadness just like the  dark sky..... The following morning, I noticed that I had received an email from A, one of my best friends. She is the only one out of the four who had never met K in person. Her email said, "I had a dream of K last night. I have never met him, but he surely appeared in my dream. In the dream, you and I are chatting in a cafe. Suddenly, you say, "Look, A! K is sticking his head out o...

This article was originally posted on September 18, 2011🍀 Mr. Children -- One of the most popular Japanese bands. I went to the Mr. Children's concert with my eldest son and his close childhood friend, a very nice girl.  She knew K very well too as they all grew up together in the neighborhood, we talked about him a lot on our way to the concert stadium. K was like a little brother to her. She played with him and looked after him ever since he was born. She came to his funeral and witnessed that miraculous snowfall. She even wears a necklace with C lover charm because she, too, believes K sends a message through Clover Signs. We were all convinced that K was definitely coming with us to the concert! Before we got to the concert stadium, we went into a restaurant to eat lunch. When our waitress came to serve our table, my eldest boy noticed a Clover accessary around her neck. All three of us were very excited about that!  We are always guided by the Clover Signs K se...

This article was originally posted on September 16, 2011🍀 March 13, 2011 My eldest son and I went to the temporary booth shop at a local department store to look at mobile/bag straps. I must have looked extremely serious while looking at the products, my eldest boy asked me later, "What was that all about with those straps?"  Whoops! I forgot to explain the meaning of the straps to him!  It really surprised and amazed him that the mobile strap company's name is "Clover 365." He started laughing and crying at the same time and said, "Wow, what a coincidence! K had a Clover Sticker on his electric guitar!" Not just 365 but Clover too!?  Everything is connected! It all makes sense now! We were so touched by the intricate message signs K sent for us. Ever since that day, K started communicating through Clover Signs to let us know that he is ok and always with us. K's miracles does not stop and never will..... My four best friends heard the episod...

This article was originally posted on September 15, 2011🍀 The store my friends bought my mobile strap from offers bag charms too, so they all purchased lucky charms for their children. They later told me they really wanted to get a charm for my daughter, A, as well, but could not pick one out because they did not know which one had the best meaning for her.  I said to them, "No worries at all! The store booth will stay open for a week at the department store, I will go and pick the best one myself!" There were 100 lucky charms on their online product list, I went over each one of them. On March 11, 2011 , when picking up my daughter from her kindergarten, one of my friends came to me and asked if I selected a lucky charm for A, so I told her that I was thinking to get a Bell charm which had a meaning of "Inviting in lots of good luck." She asked, "Did you know that there is a beautiful Snowflake charm?" I said, "I did not notice that one!" She...

This article was originally posted on Sep 14, 2011 🍀   Since K departed from this world, we could feel him through the snow.  K's high school had not being corporative at all in regard to releasing any information, we decided to go through all his note books and notes for any clues for his death. We were going to go over literally everything in his bedroom. K's room was very clean and well organized, he did not own much. Everybody contemplated and said, "Just like his simple life style, he did not leave any negative feelings towards anyone or anything." Surprisingly, just as we said that, fluffy white snow, similar to the cotton candy snow we witnessed during his funeral, started to fall outside the room.  We were convinced that was another sign from K saying, "Thank you" to all of us. Watching the beautiful snowfall uplifted our heavy grieving hearts. This was not the only occasion after his funeral, we have had several snowfalls lately, which, again, is ...

Miracle — from Snow to Clover 2

This article was originally posted on Sep 14, 2011 🍀 I have four special friends whom I met in K’s kindergarten. We call our group of five, the “Mom Rangers.” We share good laughs and talk about anything. They knew what happened to K and also understood what my eldest son and daughter were going through. One of them always stayed with me and asked me out for shopping, making sure that I was not alone during the day. Their love embraced my broken heart. However, as time passed, my grief got more and more intense. It was hard when dropping off and picking up my daughter from her kindergarten. I tried to act normal since nobody knew about K’s death there. At home alone, I was sobbing like crazy... I kept thinking, “I wish I could go where K is right now. Is he suffering in a very lonely place?” To be honest, I contemplated falling off my 8th floor balcony, several times. I did not have any room in my mind to think of my other children. My four best friends were making a plan for a ...
