My Mom Ranger friends wrote this message in the card included in my gift:

Dear Lily,          

On behalf of Sister A, Sister A+, Sister H, I, Sister E is writing this card. 

All four of us selected the mobile strap together. We may not be able to take you out and stay with you all the time, however, this strap will remind you that our hearts are always with you.

The Bird Charm means "Days of Tranquility", and The Gift Charm means "Wishing you lots of Smiles." However, do not try hard to smile, we simply wish that you would find tranquility and peace in your everyday life while you move forward with grief. 

You always help and support others, but now, you need help more than anybody else. When you are overwhelmed with your grief and everyday work, reach out to us anytime.

I cried because I realized how fortunate I was to have such a wonderful friendship. My Mom Ranger Sisters are my biggest support system, they listen to my stories about K no matter how many times they have heard them. They shed tears with me and for me.

It it were not for their friendship and support, I would not be able to take my daughter to kindergarten with a smile.

Birthday Present from K

This article was originally posted on September 26, 2011🍀 My birthday is July 2. Without any apparent reason, my back started to hurt badly a few days prior to my birthday. Yes, I have had back pain before, but it had never been this severe. I decided to go see an orthopedic doctor/chiropractor to feel better so that I could keep taking care of my little girl and working as a PTO board member at her school. I was very busy at that time. On July 1st, I saw an orthopedic technician whom one of my best friends, A, recommended to me. I was given an acupuncture treatment as well as physical massage. On my way home, I was thinking to myself, "How unlucky I am!  Tomorrow is my birthday and I had to go visit a clinic for my back pain. K, let me know if this does have any meaning." This article was written on October 25, 2011 🍀 Currently, I am a homeroom mother for my daughter's kindergarten. I usually do my work in the parents' room on the second floor. The parents' room has a big window with curtains. When you open the curtains, you can see the play ground right below. The other day, looking out the window alone, I saw my daughter running outside to play. I peered through a crack in the curtain and watched her play for a while. She was chatting with friends, dancing excitedly, and smiling happily. I found myself smiling also while watching my daughter play. And, that was when I realized. Perhaps, K watches us just like this from high up in the sky. He can see us clearly, however, we do not notice that.
